Check out the exclusive interview with Ugly Duckling below. Dizzy Dustin, Einstein and Andy Cooper reveal their inspiratons, how they create their music and also who their current favourite artists are.

Ugly Duckling base their sounds on old school hip hop from the late 80’s and early 90’s and are similar with sound to De La Soul.

In the interview you will see the guys talk about their hip hop influences including the Pharcyde, James Brown, Biz Markie, Main Source, Pete Rock and CL Smooth and of course Gang Starr. who they all grew up listening to before Ugly Ducklings was formed.

They also talk about which artists they currently enjoy listening to including Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes and lil Wayne.
